Redemption Campaigners Mission, also know as Emancipation Proclaimers Assembly is founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju, who also is the over seer of the great church. It is a holiness church of God with emphasis on entire sanctification. Rev. Prof Emma Ononuju founded Redemption Campaigners Mission in 1982 as evangelistic outreach ministry, for soul winning, Gospel spreading, and tract sharing, under the name of “Redemption Campaigners ministry, the word mission was added when the ministry was turned to be a church. Redemption Campaigners ministry founded by young pastor Emma Ononuju in 1982 was aimed at reaching the sinners with tracts, open air preaching, booklets and with all issues necessary to reach and to convert sinners.
The original plan was not to turn it to a full church but to make it an inter – denominational ministry in order to convert sinners, but through the leadership and directive of God, it was called to be a church in 2016 which result to the real change of name and which made it to be called “Redemption campaigners mission, instead of Redemption Campaigners ministry. Redemption Campaigners ministry is the oldest ministry of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju and stands as the mother to all ministries from the same root of Emma Ononuju.
WHY REDEMPTION CAMPAIGNERS MINISTRY AND REDEMPTION CAMPAIGNERS MISSION;
Redemption Campaigners, ministry was founded by pastor Emma Ononuju in 1982 as a gospel club, as evangelistic and out reach ministry and as soul winning train to reach the unreached and to church the unchurched with the only single aim of saving the sinners under inter – denominational efforts hence the converts were directed to near by churches around. The original name was Redemption Campaigners ministry whose purpose was to spread the love of Christ at Calvary to all men and to where ever man is found.
Redemption Campaigners ministry is the name of inter – denominational ministry while Redemption Campaigners mission is the name of a church. Redemption Campaigners ministry was founded in 1982 by Pastor Emma Ononuju, while Redemption Campaigners mission was founded later by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju. The visions were from the same source and from one man, but their ministerial stands were not the same.

Redemption Campaigners Mission shall also be called “Emancipation Proclaimers Assembly and shall be abbreviated as “Recamissio” while Emancipation proclaimers Assembly is abbreviated as “Empras”.
TWO KEY EMPHASIS OF THE CHURCH
The two key emphasis of Redemption Campaigners Mission are HOLINESS and FAITH without which no one shall see the Lord nor Please the Lord Mtt 5:8, Heb 12:14, Heb 11:6, and Heb 11:3. We have HOLINESS as our possession, conviction and our experience, while faith is our confession, action our defence
LIFE AND CHARACTER
Our church (Recamissio) and its members are bent to be holy and to live righteously every day and every where. God is holy and all that must worship Him must be holy Jn 4:23,24, 1 Pet 1:14,15,16. 1Pet 2:9. We shall be examples of believers, representing Jesus both in action, in practice, in holiness, in faith, meekness in Truth, in love in long suffering in gentleness and in righteousness with all obedience to God.

OUR CHRISTIAN STANDARDS
We hate worldliness, sinfulness, selfishness, devilish activities and programmes or life styles that can draw us to sin and to worldliness. Our attires appearances and activities must speak and project godliness and holiness. We believe in total abstainance, total separation and total denial of worldly life styles and all compromise. We believe, holiness is die to sin and crucified with the LORD which are evidences of entire sanctification in the heart of the believers.
GOALS OF OUR CHURCH
We have goals to score in the gospel ministries. These goals stand as what we are called to score at a particular period or often as we go on to the ministry or the focus of Redemption Campaigners ministry. Our goals are thus written below.

- (íí) To lead sinners to repentance and to convert sinners to Bible salvation in order to inherit eternal life in heaven.

FEATURES OF THE MINISTRIES
The ministries feature church growth activities, outpouring of the Holy ghost, miracles and soul winning activities in the ministries of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju.
As a holiness preacher, He is also a great charismatic minister with different signs and wonders following, soul conversions, church growth, healing and numerous deliverance programs.
Each of these ministries has its own peculiarities and specific featuring, covering all areas of the gospel works with great evidences of holiness and miracles, representing the presence of the Holy Spirit. The ministries are briefly concluded with the under listed four words below.
HOW EL EMANCIPATION MINISTRY WAS ESTABLISHED
El Emancipation ministry like its mother ministry, the Redemption campaigners ministry was established through unceasing burden in the heart of Rev Prof Emma Ononuju who was so burden on the conversion of sinners and the spreading of the scriptural holiness to churches, believers and to all around.
He first formed a group of ministers and believers with the aim of equipping them for evangelistic activities and tutorial ministries in the churches. He equipped able men and women to be really on fire for soul winning and zealous for the teachings and spreading of the Bible Holiness. He presided over these believers and ministers while he was a full time pastor with the Bible Missionary Church of Nigeria. He was a District superintendent, member of the governing council, also a presbyter and a member of the General board of the Bible Missionary Church of Nigeria. This group of believers and ministers from different groups and denominations later formed a fellowship group for prayers and evangelism. He did not break any church, nor any Bible College because He preaches against church braking and splitting of God’s church by carnal ministers. The greatest dividends of the fellowship was the Tuesday and Thursday counseling and deliverance programmes. The miracles and testimonies in this show case are the fruits of the Tuesday and Thursday deliverance programmes that are attended by people from different states of Nigeria. The deliverance and counseling programmes of the ministry played key roles parts of Nigeria. Presently, El Emancipation ministry is a big programme within the students circle which is called Eltheco night explosion in El Theological College Aba, which is normally attended by people from different cities in Abia State of Nigeria.
WHY IT WAS ESTABLISHED
El Emancipation ministry, like every other ministry founded by Rev Prof Emma Ononuju, was established to spread the gospel across the world, to convert sinners and to church all unchurched areas. It is a missionary minded ministry, sponsoring ministers for mission works and sending out missionaries for foreign fields. Evangelism and missionary activities have been the heart beat of the founder, coupled with the burden to spread the scriptural holiness to all. El Emancipation ministry combined Holiness and charisma to actualize the end time ministry of the Lord.
El Emancipation ministry is very accommodating and runs Inter-denominational fellowship and combined ministries with other gospel preaching ministries and ministers.
