EVANGELISM AND CHURCH GROWTH

Our supreme task as a church is soul winning and evangelism. We have done nothing, if we did not evangelize and have also achieved nothing if the church did not grow. Evangelism is our supreme task while church growth is our supreme target. These two things mark our callings and the purposes of our earthly existence. Below are the emphasis thereof.

  1. We are called to go into the world and preach the gospel.
  2. We are called to teach all nations about Christ.
  3. We are called to do the works that JESUS did.
  4. We are called to convert sinners and to bring all to Christ.
  5. We are commanded to bear fruits and our fruits shall grow.
  6. We are commanded to increase, multiply and to subdue.
  7. We are commanded to have and to add more souls.

Our holiness message are meant to reach all nations and to reach all people and to cove all religions. The above tasks shall be accomplished by our church and shall be the focus of our church, the focus of our ministers and the focus of our members.

OUR POSITION IN THE FIVE (5) FOLDS N.T. GOSPEL MINISTERS EPH 4:11

We believe that God is still calling people into the gospel ministry and that the five fold gospel ministries of the New Testament are still functional and that the five fold gospel ministers are still needed in the church today. We believe that the offices and ministries of the Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, pastors and Teachers are still practical and functioning in the church of God today. We believe that God is still calling Apostles, Prophets Evangelists, pastors and Teachers for the growth, survival and for the stability of the church.

OUR STAND ON CHARISMA, FAITH HOLINESS AND MIRACLES.

We emphasize charisma, faith, Holiness and miracles and we believe they are very important issues in the New Testament church and true means of church survival and relationship with the Lord who is the owner of the church and founder of it. The importance of these four qualities of the church can never be over emphasized.

  1. Charisma, is what enables us work for God.
  2. Faith, is what connects us with God and helps us daily to please our God.
  3. Holiness, is the life and spiritual quality of God which makes us to see and to experience God.
  4. True Miracles, are the practical evidences of the presence of God in our ministries.

We believer these are necessary to the true church of God and the church which JESUS has redeemed with His blood. The combination of these four things will produce a holiness growing church of JESUS CHRIST. We Acts chapter 2, 3, 4 and 5. Our holiness is not dormant holiness but active holiness like JESUS own.

OUR SERMONS AND EMPHASIS

We have seven important emphasis in our preaching and teaching to build the church of God and we believe, there are other possible areas of great importance according to ones vision. Below are the major areas of our emphasis in preaching and in teaching according to our vision, calling and ministry.

  1. Sermon and messages of Repentance which shall usher the sinner to repentance, confession, of sins, and brokenness which shall result to forgiveness and salvation form God which is the most important need of the sinners.
  2. Sermons, teachings and messages of sanctification, which shall usher the believers to the rooting out of the inbred sin, death of the carnal mind and purity of their hearts, resulting to holy living, perfect love and entire sanctification.
  3. Sermon, teachings and messages on Christian services, stewardship and maturity, which shall usher the believers to spiritual growth, selfless services to God, evangelism, love of God and fervent in God’s business without regret. This is the type of teachings that help the believers to understand their positions and inheritances Christ.
  4. Sermons teachings and messages on Faith and faithfulness which connect the believers to God and solidify their trust and reliance on God of all providence and make them to daily walk with God.
  5. Sermons, teachings and message of Hope, which create the life of patience, long suffering, prayerfulness and daily conviction in a believer. These are the sermons, teachings and messages that refresh the believer daily relationship with God and with man and make them to know that every hope is not lost, while God still cares.
  6. Sermons, teachings and message of the lost day which create the fear or God in the hearts of the believers. These are the sermons and teachings that excavate man’s death, the judgment of God agony in hellfire, enjoyment in heaven and the soon coming rapture of the saints. These are the sermons and teachings that lead the believers to restitutions and reconciliations.
  7. Sermons, teachings and messages on Christian charisma which ushers the believers not only to seek the gifts of the Holy ghost but also to seek for the fruits of the Holy spirit for higher life and the gifts for higher works. These are the teachings and sermons that expose the believers to seek and to acquire to fruits and the gifts of the Holy Ghost in order to be like Christ in spirit and to do the works that Christ did in action and in practice.

ANTI – HOLINESS ACTIVITIES IN OUR DAYS

As a holiness church, we are against those things that hinder holiness, spirituality and those things that fight against the mission and ministry of the church of God, among which are these below, which we daily preach against.

  1. The increase of social evil in our nation is too bad and hinders evangelism.
  2. Compromise to sins, to evil society and to sinful politicians by some preachers today is too bad.
  3. The present marriage between the church and the world, known as worldliness in the church is too bad and great offence against our God.
  4. Heresies among the gospel ministers because of their sinful pursuit to grab quick money is not in live with the purpose of the gospel.
  5. The present marriage between believers and the unbelievers, especially among the gospel ministers and church harlots is sinful.
  6. Occult practices among the preachers that have greatly polluted the altars and the churches today is another trouble that faces the church.
  7. Polygamist and poyandrists as church leaders and prophet in our days is demonic
  8. Immoralities among ministers that have greatly engulfed the ministries and brought the pastors to disrepute in our days is devils strategies to harm
  9. Prosperity and miracles preaching aim by some pastors aiming at robbing the church attendants without showing them the way of life and without the TRUTH is the devils last victory against fake ministers.
  10. Deceitful ministries that are born from the heart desires to make money and not from the genuine call of God to save souls is deadly.
  11. Astrologers and magicians at the altars that are presently pulling crowd are the pulpit deceiving people and sending thousands of people to hell through their demonic ministries. Has killed the true zeal and vision of truth.
  12. Miracles seekers, who have no repentance of their sins and daily, wickedness of their actions, who today filled the demonic ministries. Have killed the godly seekers.
  13. Uncountable congregations in our days that go by names “church” but without any genuine believer among them and without any sermon from the Bible is another curse that faces the altar.
  14. The socialization of the church that has brought JESUS to weep again while the church becomes disco hall and criminal club.

OUR ATTITUDES TOWARDS MONEY

While we solidly believe the scripture that says that money answereth all things, we also believe the scripture that says “the love of money is the root of all evil” we know that money is used in the building of our church, used in the purchases of our cars, used in the purchases of our clothes, address system, in our gospel equipment, used in the purchases of the facilities and use in the purchase of our clothes, needs and our foods, still we also believe that money should not be the theme of our gospel, neither should money be focused in the ministry. Money should not be the cause of establishing ministries, neither be the cause of preaching neither should the church be seen as money making organization; Based on these we have the following points to make on money.

  1. We need money but, money should not be the purpose of our gospel and ministry establishment.
  2. The blessings of God do not only center on money neither on how much does one have in the bank.
  3. Church members should not be deceived with the gospel of money while souls are Pershing.
  4. Relationship between man and God should not be weighed on the amount of money gained.
  5. Money can be acquired diabolically, trickily and falsely, but salvation, can not be acquired falsely, diabolically, nor trickily.
  6. Based on these, we stick at preaching and teaching on salvation which money can not buy and which is not sold.
  7. Jesus did not come to make every one get the money, neither did JESUS die to make every man’s pocket full of money, but He died that all should be saved.
  8. Jesus, Peter, Paul and all Apostles, did not gather people to hear secrets of getting money, but they gathered people to teach them way of salvation and word of life.
  9. The present social and money sermons at the pulpit are fleshly motivated sermons and never the true gospel and not what Jesus taught us to tell others and the entire world of sinners.
  10. Based on the issues above, we believe that man may be saved and go to heaven without money but no body can go to heaven without repentance and without salvation. We also believe that money is good, we need it, and demand it, but it shall never be the theme of our sermons when souls are perishing people should be led to Christ and to help them be faithful unto our God, because obedience, righteousness and faithfulness are keys to prosperity therefore, those who want to get money should be made to be faithful, obedient and righteous Deut 28:1-14 Ps 1:1-6 Mtt 6:33. Money is not evil but God first. Our attitude towards money is that people should be taught about repentance and godliness first, which shall lead them to discover God’s will about money.
  11. Consulting days and months
We have counseling and prayer and deliverance days in our church which are very free for all interested people to com in person or on line with prayer request. Below are the days of prayers, deliverance and counseling. In the church hall.
